High Hopes Speech Therapy offers in-person speech therapy services for children in Brenham, TX and surrounding area. Our experienced therapist provides personalized, one-on-one sessions, evaluations and treatment sessions. We focus on improving speech and language related disorders including articulation, fluency, language delay, and feeding.

Meet your Therapist
Darby Rea, M.S., CCC SLP
Darby has over 7 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in various settings including outpatient, early childhood intervention, public school, and pediatric home health. Darby has a passion for working with the pediatric population and treats patients from birth to 21 years of age.
Darby is a southern girl born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the West Texas A&M University. In her free time, she enjoys being with her daughter and husband, spending time with her many different farm animals, and enjoying the outdoors.
Darby is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed SLP in the state of Texas.

Payment & Insurance
Payment Information
High Hopes Speech Therapy requires clients to have a credit card on-file. Charges will be made for completed sessions. Payments can be made with cash, check, credit card or HSA card.
Insurance
We are out of network for insurance at this time. Parents or guardians are responsible for the payment of therapy services. While we do not accept insurance, parents may ask for a superbill and independently request reimbursement from insurance.
Medicaid
We do not accept Medicaid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our therapist will travel to Brenham and the surrounding areas such as (but not limited to) Belleville, Somerville, Round Top, or Chappell Hill. Most sessions are done in-home, at daycare, or in a public community setting like a public library or a park upon request.
Individual rates vary depending on session length (30 minutes vs. 60 minutes) and driving distance. Please contact us for a personalized quote for both evaluation and treatment sessions.
High Hopes Speech Therapy is a private pay provider. This means we do not bill insurance companies directly, and payment is due at the time of service. We accept payment via cash, check, and all major credit cards (including HSA/FSA cards).
